Booking in with me
Firstly... Thank you for your interest in my work, I'm excited to hear your ideas and to create some cool art with you!

Please read all information below before you reach out, this way it'll be easier and quicker to figure out if we're a good fit and to get you booked in. I think it's important that we both have the same vision for the tattoo you want and best way to find out is to reach out :)

Enquiring
Please include in your message (via instagram/email):
-
The design or idea
Screenshot of the flash design, or a description of your custom idea, including reference pictures and rough sketches. Feel free to include screenshots of tattoos that I've done that you like. The more detail the better. -
Size
In cm, inches or universal objects eg. 2p coin or credit card. This doesn't have to be exact, on the day I print out a few different sizes, and we can figure it out together if needed. -
Placement
Eg. arm/forearm, ankle, lower back. This doesn't have to be exact either, if you're unsure I'm here to help and we can find the perfect placement on the day. -
When
Eg. days/dates/timings that are good for you, or if you can be quite flexible. I usually book 1 month in advance, but just ask as I might be able to get you booked in for a later date. -
Budget
If you have a budget, it's useful for me to know when I estimate. I try to accommodate my clients' budgets and there are things like level of detail, size and placement that play a part in the quote.
If you'd like to book in multiple tattoos, include info for all of them and I'll give a quote for each individual design, as well as a discounted "bulk" price.

You can either message me on my Instagram @vicknpoke or email vicknpoke@gmail.com. IG is probably the most common and straightforward way and I reply within 1-7 days, email might take a few more days for me to reply but I aim to always reply.

Confirming your appointment
After you've sent your request, I'll get back to you if I have any questions, and after the digital consultation I'll give you a quote and we find a suitable date and time. To secure your booking, I require a non-refundable deposit of usually £50 (it depends on how big the tattoo is). The deposit is part of the final price, so on the day of your appointment you'll pay the remaining amount. I'll confirm your booking via insta/email and send you the relevant information for the appointment, there are some info down below as well as under FAQ.

T&C
The deposit is to secure your booking and to cover my time spent on the administration and designing your design. If you have to reschedule, give me at least 48h notice and we can transfer your deposit to another date. Best is to let me know as soon as you can, so that I can fill the slot for someone else.

If cancelling, or rescheduling with less than 48h notice, the deposit will unfortunately be lost and a new one is required to book a new appointment.

A new deposit is also required if:
- You're 30+ minutes late to your appointment
- You reschedule a second time

On the day
Yay, you're booked in with me, how exciting! I will have sent you all the relevant information for you to come prepared, see below for some extra bits that can be handy as well.

Studio
My tattoo studio is located in a beach hut on the seafront in Worthing. It's cosy but small and the best part is the view that you get while getting your tattoo. If you think getting a tattoo is weirdly relaxing or therapeutic, wait until you come here. You'll get the prime seat and can just lean back and enjoy the show called ~ the sea ~. This is the perfect place for dog and people watching (they might look back at you too!) and just relax and watch the world go by, with the sound of crashing waves in the background.

Since being in this studio, I've been lucky to experience all kinds of weather. I strongly live by something we say in Sweden; "there's no bad weather, just bad clothes" (it rhymes in Swedish which is fun). Sunny, rainy, still, stormy, hot, windy, you name it. Luckily the studio is quite sheltered, so we get to be close to the sea and nature, but on a moody day, my studio provides warmth and cosiness.

As part of an art collective called East Beach Studios, I'm surrounded by many other artists and crafts that you can check out before or after your tattoo. There's really something for everyone, all by local artists and handmade, including but not limited to: stunning silver jewellery, organic skincare, wooden musical sculptures, unique paintings & illustrations, and more. There is also the cafe Coast next doors for your snacking needs and chill vibes during sunny days.

Appointment options
On colder days, we might close the door(s) for extra protection, but often it's more than enough to keep us warm with a small heater and a hot water bottle.
There are also options for silent sessions and more privacy in case you want that.

Getting there
If you're driving, there is plenty of cheap parking around - just behind the studio, close to Splashpoint and on-road parking slightly west of the studio. Feel free to ask me when booking in if you're unsure.
If you're taking the train, it's just a 15-20min walk from the station. There is also the Coastliner bus 700 that stops just around the corner, and conveniently very close to the cafes Laughing Dog and Flour Pot if you want to get something to drink or eat.
